Most purchasing tools make you run a separate order per location. Stockroom lets one purchase order feed several destinations, receive each one where it lands, and move stock between locations when the split turns out wrong.

One document, several destinations
The destination lives on the line, not just the header, so a single supplier order can stock the whole business.
- Per-destination sections. Each destination is its own product table with its own quick-add, product picker and suggested quantities. Add another destination and it appends a section.
- Move lines between them. Select lines and move them to a different destination in bulk. Same-variant quantities merge, so one section never ends up holding duplicate rows.
- The supplier sees a clean document. The PDF groups lines under per-location "Deliver to" subheadings, each with that location's real street address. Single-destination orders print exactly as before.
- Receive per location. Each delivery is received against the location it arrived at, with its own invoice reference and its own costs. Incoming for the other destinations stays untouched.
- Or combine on the way out. Generating drafts from a reorder review that spans locations gives you a choice: one PO per location, or one combined PO per supplier with per-line destinations.
- Ship somewhere else entirely. A ship-to override prints a free-text address for drop-ship orders, while stock still flows to the Shopify location you chose.
Rebalance without leaving Shopify
Stockroom drives Shopify's own inventory transfer objects, so the documents live in your store rather than in a third-party silo.
- Native transfer documents. Built on Shopify's InventoryTransfer and visible in your Shopify admin - not a parallel system that can drift out of sync.
- Suggestions, not guesswork. Stockroom pairs locations short of an item with locations holding excess, so rebalancing starts from your data.
- In transit is a real state. Track shipments from packed to received, and scan them in by barcode at the destination.
- One product timeline. Transfers sit alongside receipts, adjustments, counts and daily sales in the same per-product history, with the location on every row.
Different locations, different rules
A flagship store and an overflow warehouse should not share a reorder point. In Stockroom they do not have to.
- Per-location overrides. Low stock, reorder point, max level and safety stock are set once for all locations, then overridden per location where it matters. Blank inherits.
- Location-scoped everything. The Products list, stock filters, reorder review, counting sessions and reports all scope to a location, or aggregate across all of them.
- Honest incoming. Click any incoming number to see exactly which purchase orders and in-transit transfers are behind it, with expected dates and outstanding quantities.
- Stock value per location. Value at cost, dead stock, days of supply and stock on hand as of a past date all respect the location scope.
Common questions
Is there a limit on locations?
No. Stockroom has no cap on locations, SKUs, purchase orders, suppliers or users. Every store runs the same app.
Do transfers show up in my Shopify admin?
Yes. Stockroom creates Shopify's own native inventory transfers, so the document and the stock movements belong to Shopify. Nothing exists only inside Stockroom.
Can one purchase order really deliver to several places?
Yes. Each line carries its own destination. The PDF groups them under per-location delivery subheadings for the supplier, and receiving happens per location as each delivery arrives.
What if I split a PO wrong?
While it is a draft you can move lines between destinations in bulk, or collapse several sections back into one. After it is ordered, a receipt can still target any location.
