Stockroom Network

Your suppliers are on Shopify too

The PO you email today is a PDF somebody re-types. Connect the supplier and it lands in their store as a real order - their fulfillment moves your PO, and their prices keep your costs honest.

How it works

Three steps, then it just runs

Stockroom Network connects two Shopify stores that both run Stockroom. Purchase orders cross; nothing else does.

1

Connect a supplier

Invite any supplier from their page in Stockroom. If they sell on Shopify, Stockroom is free for them too - and both sides approve the connection before anything crosses.

2

Order like you already do

Mark a PO ordered and it arrives in their Stockroom - lines matched to their catalog by your supplier SKUs. One click on their side creates the order in their store, or it happens automatically if they turn that on.

3

Watch it come back

When they fulfill, their tracking and shipped quantities flow back onto your PO and move it through ordered, partial and received - without anyone typing.

Costs that stay current

Their price list is your cost feed

A connected supplier can publish the prices they charge you. From then on, your costs stop being a stale spreadsheet.

  • You approve changes - or set a policy. Auto-accept everything, auto-accept decreases and review increases, or review every change. Never a silent overwrite.
  • It feeds everything downstream. Updated costs flow into weighted-average cost, landed cost, margin reporting and the buy plan.
  • A sent PO is a contract. Price changes apply to future orders only. Nothing already sent is ever repriced.
  • Their currency, kept honest. The price list stays in the supplier currency, exactly like PO documents - totals are never blended across currencies.
  • Price-change alerts. When a supplier reprices N items, you hear about it - even if you auto-accept.
Not dropshipping

This is not Shopify Collective

Shopify Collective is for selling products you never stock - the supplier ships to your customer. Stockroom Network is wholesale replenishment: you buy stock, hold it and resell it. Plenty of stores will happily use both.

Shopify Collective
  • You list their products; you hold nothing
  • Supplier ships to your customer
  • Retail order flow, split payouts
Stockroom Network
  • You buy wholesale and own the stock
  • Supplier ships to you; you receive it in
  • PO flow - landed costs, COGS, margins
Common questions

Stockroom Network FAQ

What does my supplier need?

A Shopify store running Stockroom - which is free. Suppliers who are not on Shopify keep getting your PO by email and PDF exactly as before; nothing about your existing flow changes.

What data crosses between the stores?

Purchase orders, and the fulfillment and published prices that answer them. Nothing else - not your sales, not your stock levels, not their unit costs. Both sides consent to the connection, and either side can disconnect at any time.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Stockroom Network is part of Stockroom, which is free for both sides. The only paid product we make is MyWorks Sync, our accounting sync.

What if our SKUs do not match?

Lines match through the supplier SKUs you already keep on your products. Anything that does not match is surfaced - never silently dropped - and once your supplier resolves a SKU, the connection remembers it for every future PO.

Can a supplier change what I pay without me noticing?

No. Price changes arrive under your accept policy, sent POs are never repriced, and price-change alerts tell you what moved.

Free for both sides

Connect your first supplier

Install Stockroom, open a supplier, and send the invite. If they sell on Shopify, they are five minutes from never re-typing your POs again.
